Nothing Phone (3) Teased With Braille-Like Button Ahead of July Launch
Nothing is gearing up for what could be its most ambitious smartphone yet. The London-based tech startup has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will launch in July 2025, and a fresh teaser has now given us our first real glimpse at the device.
And there's more than just hype here. This could be the company's first genuine leap into the flagship category-both in price and intent.

Braille-Inspired Button, Dual-Tone Finish
The teaser image shared by Nothing showcases a close-up shot of a uniquely textured button, which some fans believe might feature Braille-like patterns. If accurate, this would signal a significant push toward accessibility-focused hardware design-a thoughtful move not commonly seen in flagship smartphones.
The teaser also confirms a dual-tone finish, reminiscent of the CMF Phone 2 Pro's White and Orange variants. While design remains a cornerstone of Nothing's brand identity, this new button detail could elevate the Phone (3) beyond aesthetics and into utility-focused innovation.
"A True Flagship," Says Carl Pei
Nothing founder and CEO Carl Pei has openly called the upcoming device the brand's "first true flagship". He promises premium materials, notable performance upgrades, and a software experience enhanced by AI features. That suggests Nothing is aiming to go toe-to-toe with established premium phones-not just through hardware, but through intelligent software integration.
This is a shift from the Phone (1) and Phone (2), both of which leaned heavily on design and a mid-premium price point while offering solid-if not groundbreaking-performance.
Pricing: A Big Jump From Phone (2)
Pei also confirmed the expected UK price of the Nothing Phone (3) at around £800 (approximately $1,064 or ₹90,500). That's a significant bump from the Phone (2), which launched at £629 (roughly ₹71,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. In India, the same model retailed at ₹49,999, so we might expect a similar jump with the Phone (3).
If Nothing sticks with the 12GB + 256GB base model for this generation, it's clear the brand is positioning this as a high-end flagship
