Nothing Phone 3a, 3a Plus New Leak: Tipped to Feature Dedicated Telephoto Camera, eSIM, and More

We already know Nothing is expected to launch the Phone 3a next year. Alongside, the brand is anticipated to bring two more handsets namely - Phone 3a Plus, and the CMF Phone 2.

While there's no official confirmation regarding the same, the latest information reveals specifications and other details of upcoming Nothing smartphones. Here's what to expect.

Nothing Phone 3a & 3a Plus: What to Expect

The latest development comes to light via Android Authority, revealing a few details related to the upcoming Nothing smartphones.

The upcoming Nothing Phones spotted under codenames asteroids, asteroids_plus, and galaga, are expected to be dubbed the Nothing Phone 3a, Nothing Phone 3a Plus, and the CMF Phone 2. Even three models recently appeared on the IMEI database with model numbers A001, A059 and A059P.

In terms of features, both the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, while the CMF Phone 2 is expected to feature a MediaTek SoC.

Moreover, the Phone 3a is tipped to come with a dedicated telephoto camera, while the Phone 3a Plus will offer a periscope zoom camera. The report further suggests both the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Plus could be the first phones from the company to launch with eSIM support. However, the CMF Phone 2 will likely stick to physical SIM only.

As far as the launch is concerned, the exact launch timeline is still unknown at this moment. If the brand follows the same timeline as its precursor, the next-gen Nothing phones will make their way in March next year.
