Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition Project 2025 Invites Creative Contributions From Users
Nothing has introduced the Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition, inviting the community to co-create an ultimate version of the Phone (3a). Participants can contribute ideas for hardware design, accessory creation, software elements, and marketing strategies. This initiative aims to bring community-driven innovations to life.
The project this year offers a £1,000 (approximately Rs. 1,10,430) cash prize for winners. This incentive encourages individuals and teams to showcase their creativity and skills. The company hopes this will attract talented participants eager to make their mark on the project.

Community Edition Project Stages
The Community Edition Project 2025 comprises four stages. Participants will first develop a new look and feel for the Nothing Phone 3a. Next, they will create an exclusive collectable or accessory to accompany the device. Additionally, they will design unique UI elements like wallpapers or widget packs. Finally, they will submit creative proposals for key visuals or launch events.
Last year, Nothing launched the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition with a glow-in-the-dark rear design. This was part of their first Community Edition project that spanned six months. However, this year's project is condensed into just one month with all briefs released simultaneously.
Submission Process and Timeline
Interested participants can register on the Nothing website from March 26th until April 23rd to submit their ideas. After submissions close in April, community voting will occur for 24 hours before internal juries select winners. This process ensures that both community input and expert judgment shape the final selections.

Winners from each brief will collaborate directly with the Nothing team to realise their creations across hardware, wallpapers, accessories, and marketing. This collaboration provides a unique opportunity for participants to see their ideas come to fruition with professional guidance.
The final product is expected later this year as confirmed by Nothing. The company remains committed to delivering a product that reflects both innovation and community involvement through this collaborative effort.
