Nothing Phone 4a Reportedly Spotted in IMEI Listing, Likely Launching in 2026
Nothing’s strategy over the past year has been clear: push the flagship Phone 3 series to compete at the top, while keeping the A-series alive for people who want solid hardware at a more approachable price.
Now it looks like the next entry in that lineup, the Nothing Phone 4a, might be on its way sooner than expected.

IMEI Listing Points to a New A-Series Device
A recent IMEI database entry spotted by Passionategeekz shows a device carrying the model number A069. If you’ve been tracking Nothing’s naming pattern, that’s right in line with the A059 used for the Phone 3a and A059p for the 3a Pro. The naming sequence strongly suggests this new listing is the Phone 4a, which is rumored to launch in March 2026.
There’s no official confirmation yet, but these kinds of certifications usually show up a few months before launch, which makes the timing add up.
What the 4a Could Build On
The A-series has always been about balance. The Phone 3a gave buyers a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, triple cameras, and Nothing’s signature Glyph light strips—all at a price far lower than the flagship models.
With the Phone 4a, Nothing could aim higher. If it follows the same philosophy, we could see a bigger push into the mid-premium segment, where devices often borrow flagship features but keep prices under control. That could mean upgraded performance, camera improvements, and refinements to Nothing OS without the full flagship price tag.
What’s Next
We don’t have confirmed specs yet, only the IMEI breadcrumb. But if the Phone 4a sticks to the formula of bringing flagship touches to a more reachable price, it’ll be one to watch in early 2026. More leaks should surface in the coming months.
