Nothing Teases New Phone (2a) Color Variant, Likely India-Exclusive Again
Nothing is keeping its fans guessing with another teaser for a new color variant of the Phone (2a) smartphone. The teaser, spotted by FoneArena, uses the tagline "A story of color, powerfully unique" and features the Nothing logo in black, yellow, and red. This suggests these colors could be part of the new design, but details remain scarce.
This potential new color scheme would be a departure from Nothing's usual black and white aesthetic, with a splash of yellow seen previously in the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds. It also follows the launch of the India-exclusive blue color variant for the Phone (2a) last month.

Community Edition and Packaging Design on the Horizon
While details of the new color variant are under wraps, Nothing is actively engaging its community. Voting recently closed for Stage 2 of the Phone (2a) Community Edition Project, which focuses on wallpaper design. The company plans to collaborate with the Stage 1 winner to co-create the hardware design for this special edition phone.
The project will continue with a focus on packaging design in June, followed by a marketing campaign in July. This suggests a potential launch of the Phone (2a) Community Edition later this year.
What to Expect
With no official confirmation from Nothing, it's unclear if the teased color variant will be exclusive to India again or available globally. Historically, Nothing has offered its devices primarily in black and white, so this new direction suggests a more colorful future for the brand.

Beyond the color change, no modifications to the Phone (2a)'s specifications or features are expected. However, as seen with the blue variant, the new color option might come at a slightly higher price point.
