Nubia Z60 Ultra Launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 6000 mAh Silicone Anode Battery, UDC Camera

Nubia has officially unveiled a new flagship smartphone in China. The Nubia Z60 Ultra arrives as ZTE's third smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, following the more gaming centric Red Magic 9 Pro and Red Magic 9 Pro+.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra arrives with a seamless display with virtually no bezels, an IP68 rating, an under-display front camera, a large silicone carbon anode battery, and a triple-camera setup on the back.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra price in China starts from CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 50,450) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the Z60 Ultra also comes in 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 24GB/1TB configurations that costs CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs 55,150), CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs 62,150), and CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 70,400), respectively.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra also comes in a Starry Night Collector's Edition with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage that costs CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs 58,650). Apart from the Starry Sky Collector's Edition, the Z60 Ultra also comes in Milky Way and Star Glory color options.

Nubia Z60 Ultra Specifications

The Nubia Z60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset also packs a massive 6,000 mAh silicone carbon anode battery with 80W wired fast charging support. The Nubia Z60 Ultra runs on My OS 14-based Android 14.

The handset sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K BOE Q9+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has an instant touch sampling rate of 1200Hz, a 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The phone also has a new and improved cooling system with an aerospace-grade thermal plate and a large vapor chamber with superconducting nanocarbon fiber.

For optics, the Nubia Z60 Ultra features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 50 MP OmniVision OV50E ultrawide lens, and a 64 MP OV64B periscope-telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Nubia offers OIS support and 4K video recording at 120fps on all three rear cameras.

Up front, the handset features a 12 MP under-display camera (UDC) as well as an independent display chip and an AI deep-sensing engine. The Nubia Z60 Ultra also comes with an in-display fingerprint reader. It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, while measuring 8.78 mm thick and weighing 246 grams.
