OnePlus 11 Special Edition Teased, Could Feature a Marble Back Panel
It looks like OnePlus wasn't satisfied with just showcasing its OnePlus 11 Concept smartphone back in MWC 2023 as the Chinese company teased an upcoming Special Edition of the flagship smartphone on Weibo. The phone is claimed to feature "unprecedented materials and craftsmanship, making each mobile phone unique", and could sport a special marble back panel, according to some reports.
OnePlus 11 Teased on Weibo
Li Jie, the president of OnePlus China, recently posted a teaser of an upcoming special edition OnePlus 11 on the Chinese social media site Weibo.

The teaser image shows the phone overlaid on top of an image of Jupiter, implying a space-inspired design for the smartphone.
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station reported that the upcoming OnePlus phone will employ a special substance on the back, and unlike glass, the back panel will have a cool and icy sensation when touched.
The source also stated that the upcoming phone is not the concept device shown at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year.
A Weibo user speculated that the smartphone's back could be made of marble, while other rumors claim that the phone will have color-shifting capabilities, similar to the recently launched Vivo V27.
Apart from design, this special edition could share the same guts as the standard OnePlus 11.
As a refresher, the OnePlus 11 sports a 6.7-inch, 120Hz, AMOLED display, a 50MP + 32MP + 48MP triple-camera setup with a 16MP selfie shooter, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, 100W wired charging support, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The OnePlus 11 already comes in two stunning colorways: Titan Black and Eternal Green; adding a new color will make the smartphone more appealing and provide a different look and feel.
OnePlus hasn't provided any information regarding the upcoming device's launch, but given that the phone has been officially teased online, at least in China, we may learn more about it in the coming days.
