OnePlus 12 5G Camera Specifications Leak

OnePlus 12 could launch in global markets, including India, in January next year. Simply put, there's still a lot of time. However, the brand is deep in the development of the series.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the camera details of the OnePlus 12 on Weibo. He claims the upcoming handset will have a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.4-inch aperture. The main camera will be backed by an as-yet-unknown sensor, presumably belonging to the Sony IMX9xx series.

The 50MP primary camera will be accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, the tipster has claimed.
It appears the rear camera setup on the OnePlus 12 has a slight but noticeable upgrade over the OnePlus 11 5G's photography hardware.

The OnePlus 11 5G features a triple rear camera unit including a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch aperture and Sony IMX890 sensor. The primary camera has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 0.5-inch Sony IMX581 sensor, and a 32MP telephoto camera with a 1/2.74-inch Sony IMX709 sensor.

The OnePlus 12 5G is expected to feature a 6.7-inch fluid LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could pack the as-yet-unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

OnePlus is rumored to have embedded 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage in the OnePlus 12 5G. Buyers could be a slightly cheaper variant of the smartphone with 12GB RAM, and choose between 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage.

Apart from the dual 50MP and 64MP triple rear camera setup, the OnePlus 12 5G is tipped to feature a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. The selfie camera should be nestled inside in a hole punch cutout on the display.
