OnePlus 12 Teardown Reveals an Impressive (and Massive) Cooling System

To delve into the OnePlus 12's cooling system, Jerry began by opening the phone from the back, using a heat gun. The teardown reveals the 50W wireless charger, making it North America's fastest wireless charging phone. As he proceeds, the bottom speaker and battery are exposed, leading to the grand reveal of the colossal cooling system upon removing the screen.

Surprisingly, there are not one but two vapor chambers stacked on top of each other, making it the largest cooling system ever integrated into a OnePlus phone.

Intricate Teardown Process

The teardown process provides a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of the OnePlus 12. Apart from the cooling system, viewers get to witness the cameras, fingerprint sensor, and intriguing thermal paste. However, the teardown does come with a trade-off, as the screen incurs damage during the removal process.
