OnePlus 13, 13R Global Variants to Launch Soon: RAM, Storage, and Colors Tipped

After debuting in China last month, the OnePlus 13 series is now gearing up for a global release. While much of the spotlight has been on its impressive specs, leaks suggest that the international variants of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will feature specific color and storage configurations tailored to the global market.

Color Options and Configurations

Leaks from tipster Arsène Lupin suggest the OnePlus 13 will be available globally in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage. The base model will reportedly come in a muted "Black Eclipse" shade, while the higher-end variant will feature brighter options like Midnight Ocean and Arctic Dawn.

OnePlus 13 Series to Hit Global Markets Soon: What’s Different?

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13R is expected to launch in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and will reportedly be offered in two colorways: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.

OnePlus 13: A Flagship with Premium Specs

The OnePlus 13 boasts flagship-level specifications, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ BOE LTPO AMOLED display, and a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination ensures smooth performance and a high-quality viewing experience. The phone's Hasselblad-tuned camera system features three 50-megapixel rear cameras: a primary sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto lens. The front-facing 32-megapixel camera ensures high-quality selfies. Powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, the OnePlus 13 offers a balanced mix of power and convenience.

OnePlus 13R: A Rebranded Ace 5 for International Markets

The OnePlus 13R, believed to be a rebranded version of the Chinese Ace 5, is positioned as a slightly more affordable alternative to the OnePlus 13. It is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED flat display and run on last year's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In the camera department, the 13R will house a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. A 16-megapixel front camera will handle selfies and video calls. The device is rumored to have a 6,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. However, it will lack wireless charging capabilities.

Global Availability and Pricing

While the official global launch date hasn't been confirmed, leaks suggest it will happen soon. In China, the OnePlus 13 starts at CNY 4,899 (approximately ₹57,900), hinting at competitive international pricing. The OnePlus 13R, being a more budget-friendly option, could also appeal to users seeking premium features at a reduced price.
