OnePlus 15 Complete Specs Tipped Ahead of Launch: SD 8 Elite 2, 7,300mAh Battery, New “Moon Rock Black” Finish
The OnePlus 15 has been surfacing in leaks for weeks, but the latest tip from known tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu) is the most detailed yet.
If accurate, the company’s next flagship could bring some of the biggest changes we’ve seen from OnePlus in years, covering everything from design to battery life.

A New Look for the Camera
Earlier reports suggested OnePlus was moving away from its trademark circular camera housing. Instead, the OnePlus 15 is tipped to feature a square-shaped module with rounded corners, positioned at the top-left of the back panel.
The familiar Hasselblad branding may also disappear, marking a shift in how OnePlus presents its camera system.
Display and Performance Upgrades
According to Choudhary’s leak, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. That kind of setup could appeal to gamers, with suggestions that native-level 165fps gameplay might be supported.
Powering the device, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Together, these specs would keep it competitive with other premium Android flagships expected to launch later in the year.
Battery Gets a Major Boost
One of the standout details from Choudhary’s post is the reported 7,300mAh battery. That’s well above what most high-end phones offer today. The phone is also tipped to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Cameras: Three 50MP Sensors
On the imaging side, the leak suggests the phone will carry three 50MP rear cameras: a Sony LYT700 main sensor, a Samsung JN5 ultra-wide, and a 3x periscope telephoto also based on the JN5. A new “LUMO” image engine is expected to drive the system. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is said to be included.
Other Details
The OnePlus 15 is expected to carry an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP68/69 water and dust resistance rating, and the “Plus Key” for customizable shortcuts, just like the one found in the OnePlus 13s. Color options could include a new “Moon Rock Black” finish with high light absorption, which sounds very interesting.
Launch Timeline
Leaks suggest the OnePlus 15 will debut in China in October, likely alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, with a global release expected in early 2026. Pricing in India has been tipped around ₹80,000, higher than the launch price of the OnePlus 13.
