OnePlus 15 to Feature Largest Battery Ever on a OnePlus Smartphone

The OnePlus 15 is scheduled to launch in China on October 27. The brand has been gradually revealing the key specifications of its upcoming flagship.

Now, OnePlus confirmed the battery capacity and charging capabilities, revealing that the OnePlus 15 will pack the largest battery ever featured on a OnePlus smartphone.

OnePlus 15 Battery Size Confirmed

The official poster reveals that the OnePlus 15 will pack a massive 7,300mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging, bypass charging, and 50W wireless charging, marking a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 13, which is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 15 Specifications—What We Know So Far

The OnePlus 15 is already confirmed to come in three colour options, Sand Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple. The phone will also feature a 6.78-inch X3 OLED panel by BOE with a 1.5K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It is confirmed to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is expected to be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1Tb of internal storage.

For imaging, the OnePlus 15 could offer a triple camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens using Samsung's JN5 sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera.

OnePlus 15 Launch Date

The OnePlus 15 is confirmed to launch on October 27 at 07:00 pm local time or 04:30 pm IST alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, which will likely come to India as the OnePlus 15R.

As far as the India launch is concerned, the OnePlus 15 could make its way to the country soon. While the exact launch date is still unknown, a dedicated microsite for the OnePlus 15 has gone live on both Amazon and the brand's official site in India.
