OnePlus, after several leaks and rumors, unveiled the successor to OnePlus, the OnePlus 3T. The smartphone was launched last month and is already available up for purchase in the US, Europe, and some areas of UK.
The OnePlus 3T is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 64GB storage variant and Rs. 34,999 for the 128GB variant in India.
Despite the fact that the OnePlus 3T is a not a significant departure from the original OnePlus 3, it does come with some upgraded internals, which is worth noticing at. Here are the five feature which makes the OnePlus 3T a worthy upgrade!
Upgraded Snapdragon 821 SoC
The six months old OnePlus 3 came out with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. However, this time around, the OnePlus 3T is coming with the Snapdragon 821 chipset with the same amount of RAM and same GPU. The Snapdragon 821 is expected to provide 15 percent better performance than the Snapdragon 820.
128GB of Internal Storage
Till date, all the OnePlus devices came out with only 64GB of internal storage from the OnePlus One to OnePlus 3. But, the OnePlus 3T comes in two storage options, one with 64GB of internal storage and the other one with 128GB of internal storage.
16MP Front-Facing Camera
OnePlus believes that selfie camera in the future of smartphone arena and indeed they are packing the OnePlus 3T with 16MP front-facing camera. Also, there is a 16MP rear camera, which is same the original OnePlus 3.
Bigger Battery in the Same Body
The OnePlus 3 came out with a smaller 3000mAh battery, which was more than enough for a single day. But, OnePlus is bumping the battery on the OnePlus 3T with a 3400mAh battery and yeah, the dash charge is still present on the OnePlus 3T
New Gunmetal Color Variant
The all new OnePlus 3T comes in a new color variant, namely, the Gunmetal color, which almost looks like Silver, but with a much darker color. The company also promised the Soft Gold option to be available in coming days.
