A few days back, OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 4.5.1 update that experienced a few issues. Later, the company came up with the OxygenOS 4.5.2 with several bug fixes and enhancements.

Now, the OnePlus forum claims that the OxygenOS 4.5.13 update is available for download for the OnePlus 5, the company's recent flagship smartphone. This will be an OTA (Over the Air) update that will hit all the units of the OnePlus 5 in the coming days. Notably, this new update has been rolled out just days after the previous one.

Going by the forum post made by OnePlus, the new OTA update brings the September Android Security patch to the OnePlus 5. Besides this, the latest update also brings in a slew of bug fixes to the OxygenOS and better system optimizations as well. The company claims that this new update will enhance the launch speed of the applications and optimized adaptive brightness.

  • Fix for the YouTube video lagging issue behind audio
  • Fix for the display issues for some UI elements
  • Customization of the notification ringtone

OnePlus has also confirmed that the OxygenOS 4.5.13 will be rolled out as an incremental update as the previous updates. The update will be initially rolled out only to a small fraction of the OnePlus 5 users and the broader rollout will happen in a few days. The impatient users can also try to update their smartphone manually by heading to Settings on their phone.
