OnePlus 5T first camera samples leaked by company's top executives

From what we have heard and seen so far, OnePlus is gearing up to announce a new smartphone most probably the OnePlus 5T in the coming days. According to a popular tipster, Evan Blass the new OnePlus 5T is expected to arrive in late November.

However, we have already seen numerous leaks and rumors of the upcoming OnePlus device and we pretty much have some idea of what the device is bringing to the table. The key highlight though will be the bezel-less or full view display that will be present. The physical home button will be absent and while the renders have shown the phone from front side only, the fingerprint scanner will likely be placed at the back.

In any case, more leaks and rumors will be coming as we still have some time before the launch. Normally we are expecting live images, press renders and specs to be leaked. And just as we say this we have come across a leak that is quite different from what we have said earlier. Well, reportedly the first camera samples of OnePlus 5T has now surfaced online.

OnePlus Co-founder Carl Pei has just posted a mysterious image on Twitter with a caption "Cool photo, must have come from a great camera". He is not the only one though. CEO Pete Lau has also posted another photo saying "Impressive photo. Must be a great camera". So these leaks coming from top OnePlus executives may be hinting towards OnePlus 5T's capabilities and that it is coming soon. The executives could also be touting that the new smartphone comes with better and improved cameras.

In any case, let's talk about the images. Well, it seems that the pictures have been resized to fit twitter norms. All EXIF information has been removed. As for the quality, it seems that the photos are taken in low light. They look quite good, sharp and detailed. We are guessing the OnePlus 5T will bring some improved low light shooting capabilities which will be either software or hardware based. Will it have OIS is the question that we are asking? OnePlus 5 does offer the optimised Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS).
