OnePlus 7T, 7T Pro Receive OxygenOS 10.0.4 Update In India
OnePlus is one of the smartphone brands to roll out timely updates to its offerings. Last month, the OnePlus 7T was launched in India and it was followed by the OnePlus 7T Pro a few days back. Soon after the launch of the 7T, the company rolled out the OxygenOS 10.0.3 update based on Android 10, the latest iteration of OS to the device.
While the previous iteration of OxygenOS was rolled out to bring camera enhancements and bug fixes, the latest update brings further improvements to the smartphone. Well, the OxygenOS 10.0.4 update based on Android 10 is being rolled out to the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones.
OnePlus 7T, 7T Pro OxygenOS 10.0.4 Update
The OxygenOS 10.0.4 update based on Android 10 for the OnePlus 7T weighs around 99MB while that of the OnePlus 7T Pro weighs 106MB. As per the official OnePlus forums, the update has already started rolling out for all users of these smartphones in India. So, if you own one of these phones, you will get it in the coming days.
OnePlus 7T, 7T Pro OxygenOS 10.0.4 Changelog
When it comes to the changes that the OxygenOS 10.0.4 update will bring to the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro, these smartphones will get the new Cloud Service for the Gallery app. This service will let users access 5GB of free cloud storage space to store their photos and videos. Also, there will be an additional 50GB of storage space free for a year.
Besides this, the OxygenOS 10.0.4 update will bring low-light optimizations to the selfie camera, optimizations for better translation accuracy, and improvements to the overall communication performance, including phone calls, network, and mobile data. There will be other general bug fixes as well as improvements to resolve some software issues faced by users of the OnePlus 7T Pro.
What We Think
As of now, there is no word regarding when this update based on Android 10 will be rolled out to the previous flagships from the brand including OnePlus 7 series, OnePlus 6, 6T, OnePlus 5 and 5T, and others. This update once again confirms that the company is focused on rolling out timely updates and keeps the user experience at the forefront.
