OnePlus 8 Concept Video: Design, Launch Date And More

OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro were announced recently. Within months, the next-generation flagship smartphones have started making rounds on the internet. Of late, there are several leaks and speculations regarding the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro slated to be launched in early 2020.

While we are months ahead of the launch of these smartphones, the concept phone designers and leaksters seem to have some nifty imaginations. After having seen several reports, here is a concept video of the Waqar Khan showing the OnePlus 8.

The OnePlus 8 has been imagined in attractive color options such as Midnight Green, Metallic Gray, Pink, Bright Purple, and Brown/Dark Beige. The back panels seem to have a matte finish and look elegant. There appears to be a punch-hole at the front to house the selfie camera. The other aspects revealed by the concept renders include triple rear cameras and a textured Alert Slider.

It is imagined that the OnePlus 8 cameras are separated with a unified dual-camera module and a separate third camera sensor underneath it. However, there are speculations that there will be quad cameras at the rear.

OnePlus 8: What To Expect?

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. In the meantime, a recent report hinted that the upcoming OnePlus smartphones will be available sometime in the second quarter of 2020. This timeframe seems to be practical and falls in line with the launch of its predecessors. To recall, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro were unveiled back in May this year.

There are speculations that the OnePlus 8 Pro, the upgraded variant of the duo will arrive with a display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, this is skeptical as only gaming smartphones come with such a fast display. Moreover, a 5G variant of the OnePlus 8 is also expected.
