OnePlus Ace 2V Specifications, Launch Date Confirmed: May Launch Under ‘Nord’ Series In India

Putting all rumors to rest, OnePlus has finally confirmed the OnePlus Ace 2V. In multiple posts on Weibo, the company confirmed the launch date as well as the specifications of the Android smartphone.

The OnePlus Ace 2V belongs to the Ace series, but it's a more affordable version of the OnePlus Ace 2. The OnePlus Ace 2 is available in India as the OnePlus 11R 5G. Let's look at all details of this upcoming handset.

OnePlus Confirms OnePlus Ace 2V Specifications, Features

OnePlus has confirmed the specifications and features of the OnePlus Ace 2V via multiple posts on Weibo. The OnePlus Ace 2V features a 6.74-inch 1.5K flexible OLED display with a 2772 x 1240 pixels resolution.

The 1.5K screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1450 nits of peak brightness, supports high-frequency PWM dimming, and is HDR10+ certified. OnePlus claims the 1.5K display will consume 24.4 percent lesser power than a conventional 2K resolution display.

The OnePlus Ace 2V is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. It will ship in two memory configurations. The base model of the OnePlus Ace 2V will have 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, whereas the top-end variant will have 16 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. OnePlus has embedded LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone has a triple-rear camera setup. However, the exact specifications aren't known yet. Previous reports suggest the rear camera setup will comprise a primary 64MP sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. There could be a 16MP Sony IMX 471 sensor on the front of the smartphone for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

The upcoming smartphone is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery unit, which may support 80W wired fast charging. The OnePlus Ace 2V was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark database recently, and the listing confirmed the device runs Android 13.

The OnePlus Ace 2V will have the brand's iconic Alert Slider at the top right side. The phone has an IR blaster at the top, alongside a microphone. There's a USB-C port at the bottom for charging and data transfer. However, the smartphone seems to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.

OnePlus Ace 2V Launch, Availability

The OnePlus Ace 2V will launch in China on March 7, 2023. The launch event will start at 14:30 CST (12:00 PM IST).

Incidentally, OnePlus has already started the pre-bookings of the device in China. The OnePlus Ace 2V could arrive in India rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3.
