OnePlus Ace 2V Launch Date Revealed: Specifications And Features Tipped Too

OnePlus held a big event this month to launch two premium Android smartphones and a plethora of devices including a smart TV, router, and more. However, the company isn't done for the year. At the ongoing MWC 2023, OnePlus revealed the OnePlus 11 concept smartphone and announced yet another upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 2V.

The OnePlus Ace 2V is similar to the OnePlus Ace 2 which could launch in India as the OnePlus Nord 3. The OnePlus Ace 2V will pack a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. Let's look at other leaked specifications and features of the just-announced OnePlus Ace 2V.

OnePlus Ace 2V Leaked Specifications, Features

OnePlus officially announced the OnePlus Ace 2V via its official Weibo channel in China. Right after the official announcement was published, a tipster leaked detailed specifications of the Android smartphone along with its launch date.

Incidentally, a mystery OnePlus smartphone recently appeared on multiple certification websites with model number PHP110. Some reports suggest this device could be branded as the OnePlus Ace 2V.

According to the latest leak, the OnePlus Ace 2V will feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have a punch-hole at the top to house a 16MP front-facing camera, "ultra-narrow" bezels, and will support 2160Hz high-frequency dimming. The display is expected to hide an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Although OnePlus has indicated a MediaTek Dimensity SoC will power the OnePlus Ace 2V, the details of the chipset have been held back. Previous reports suggested a performance variant of the OnePlus Ace 2 is packing the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. If OnePlus has positioned the OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone below the OnePlus Ace 2, it could pack the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

The as-yet-unknown Dimensity chipset inside the OnePlus Ace 2V will be paired with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, claims the leak. The top-end model of the Ace 2V could have as much as 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

OnePlus is tipped to have embedded a triple-rear camera setup with a watered-down primary camera in the OnePlus Ace 2V. The latest leak claims the OnePlus smartphone will have a 64MP OmniVision OV64M primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and OIS, as the primary camera. It will be accompanied by an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M macro sensor. As mentioned above, the smartphone will have a 16MP front-facing camera.

There could be a 5000mAh battery inside the OnePlus Ace 2V with support for 80W wired fast charging. The device should boot OxygenOS 13-based Android 13 OS.

OnePlus Ace 2V Launch And Availability

A leaked image on Weibo indicates the OnePlus Ace 2V will launch on March 7, 2023, in China. The image also shows that pre-booking of the smartphone is scheduled to begin today, February 28, 2023.

There's no official confirmation about the international launch of the OnePlus Ace 2V. However, OnePlus will likely rebrand the device, presumably under the OnePlus Nord series, and may position it against the Realme 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
