OnePlus Ace 3’s Dazzling Gold Color Teased Ahead of Launch
The OnePlus Ace 3, which is scheduled to launch in China on January 4, is eagerly anticipated to be one of the best budget flagship phones to get in 2024. The Chinese tech giant has been generating excitement through teasers on Weibo, which provide a glimpse into the device's distinctive features and design.
Now, a recent teaser video has particularly focused on the Mingsha Gold color variant, which is set to debut as a special edition with the OnePlus Ace 3.

Design Insights
OnePlus, known for its sleek designs, has revealed that the Ace 3 will sport a metal frame, reminiscent of the OnePlus 12 5G. The Mingsha Gold color option employs a gold-melting glass process, a technological leap beyond traditional metallic finishes. This process, according to the OnePlus China head, not only enhances aesthetics but also contributes to a higher manufacturing cost.
The teaser further showcases the placement of the power button and volume rockers on the right side, maintaining the OnePlus signature alert slider on the left. The device will feature a BOE X1 Oriental screen with an impressive 1.5K resolution, as confirmed by a China Telecom listing.
Pricing and Variants
OnePlus has disclosed that the base variant, equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, will be priced at RMB 3299 (approximately Rs 39,500). Additionally, higher configurations of 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage will be available at RMB 3,699 (approx. Rs 44,200) and RMB 3,999 (approx. Rs 48,000), respectively. The device is slated to hit the shelves in China starting January 31.
