OnePlus Ace 3V Key Specifications Surface: Could Debut Globally as the OnePlus Nord 5

OnePlus is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in China. The phone in question is the OnePlus Ace 3V, which will likely make its debut in India and globally as the OnePlus Nord 5.

While details about the handset are still under wraps, key specifications about the OnePlus Ace 3V were leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station. To recall, the OnePlus Ace 2V was unveiled back in March 2023 and arrived in India later in July as the OnePlus Nord 3 5G (Review).

OnePlus Ace 3V Specifications (Expected)

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 3V will likely be powered by the chipset codenamed SM7675, which will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. This mid-range Snapdragon chip is tipped to feature the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Other aspects of the upcoming Ace 3V could be an OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Additionally, it is also expected to pack a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord 3 price in India started from Rs 33,999, although we believe the Nord 5 could be priced even lower. Considering a price tag of under Rs 35,000 would put the OnePlus Nord 5 straight in the crosshair of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, a competitor to the more premium OnePlus 12R (Review).

OnePlus Nord 3 5G Specifications

The OnePlus Nord 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 out-of-the-box. In terms of the battery, the OnePlus Nord 3 opts for a 5,000 mAh cell with 80W SUPERVOOC charging support.

Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G sports a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. Moreover, the screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel also supports HDR10+ and has a pixel density of 450ppi. It also features the famed alert slider and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For optics, the OnePlus Nord 3 gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro unit. The Nord 3 also comes with a 16 MP selfie camera up front. The Nord 3 also features an IP54 rating for resistance to splashes of water.
