OnePlus Ace 6 Key Specifications Confirmed Ahead of Next Week’s Launch: Could Debut as OnePlus 15R in India

The OnePlus 15 is set to make its debut as the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phone from the brand next week. However, it won't be the only OnePlus phone launching next week. The OnePlus Ace 6 will also be unveiled at next week's event.

The OnePlus Ace 6 is expected to make its global debut as the OnePlus 15R. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has confirmed some key details about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6. But before we dive into the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 6, let's look at its availability.

OnePlus Ace 6 Launch

The OnePlus Ace 6 is launching in China on October 27 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST) alongside the OnePlus 15. Following the launch, the OnePlus Ace 6 will be unveiled globally as the OnePlus 15R sometime in January 2026.

The OnePlus Ace 6 is available for pre-reservation alongside the OnePlus 15 on platforms such as Oppo e-Shop and JDMall. Customers can secure their device for CNY 1 (approximately Rs. 12) and enjoy benefits valued at CNY 3,255 (around Rs. 40,000). This offer provides an enticing incentive for early adopters.

OnePlus Ace 6 Specifications

The smartphone will feature a 165Hz AMOLED display and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded within the screen for secure biometric access. Additionally, it will have quad ingress protection ratings, ensuring durability against dust and water.

OnePlus has labelled the Ace 6 as an "ultra performance" flagship, highlighting its advanced specifications on Weibo, a popular Chinese social media platform. The handset will support a variable refresh rate that can adjust between 60Hz and 165Hz. It will also include eye-protection features to reduce strain during prolonged use.

The OnePlus Ace 6 will come with a robust metal frame and multiple IP ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. These ratings indicate strong resistance to both dust and water ingress. A standout feature is its massive 7,800mAh battery, which is touted as the largest in its category. The device will support fast wired charging at 120W but lacks wireless charging capabilities.

Previously teased by OnePlus, the Ace 6 will be available in three colours: Black, Flash White, and Quicksilver (translated from Chinese). The phone is confirmed to weigh 213 grams. Listings suggest it might be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, similar to the current flagship model, OnePlus 13 (Review).
