OnePlus continues to be consumers' first choice in the Indian market
OnePlus, the premium smartphone maker has always kept its users at the center of its product development strategy. Each and every product from the house of OnePlus is carefully crafted to meet the demands of tech-savvy mobile users of the modern world. The company in a span of just four years has managed to conquer the Indian smartphone market by bringing the perfect blend of innovation and performance, which is very rare to find in today's time.
The company continues to be crowned as the leading brand in the ever-growing Indian premium smartphone segment for the second successive quarter. According to Counterpoint Research's latest analysis, premium smartphone shipments reached an all-time third-quarter peak during Q3 2018.
Leading from the front
According to the latest report, OnePlus, Samsung, and Apple were responsible for 83% of the overall premium smartphone market. OnePlus dominated the premium smartphone segment for the second successive quarter, grabbing 30% of the market thanks after the tremendous success of OnePlus 6 flagship smartphone.
OnePlus 6 in no time become the highest selling flagship model for the company in just five months of its launch. OnePlus's aggressive social media activity and positive word of mouth among the masses plays a vital role in the immense success of the brand.
Aggressive marketing
OnePlus has always been known for its innovative marketing techniques that have always managed to create a stir in the online and offline world. The company creates a buzz, initiating a word-of-mouth around its upcoming devices. The company is known for promoting its products in a unique manner since the very first OnePlus device.
It is now widely accepted that OnePlus has always been a consumer-centric brand that believes in creating smartphones without compromises. The company is dedicated to addressing major customer pain-points by offering unmatched after-sales service experience.
Consumers have always been the focus of OnePlus and this is the reason OnePlus fan base is bigger than any other brand in the country and even in the global market.
Expanding offline presence
OnePlus has joined hands with the Reliance Digital partner to ensure a substantial reach of its products for tech-savvy Indian mobile users and OnePlus fans. Under the new partnership, customers will now have extensive offline options to experience the OnePlus products at conveniently located stores.
OnePlus has also announced that it will hold pop-ups in 9 cities across 12 locations in the country on November 2, 2018, two days after the OnePlus 6T has been launched. The company will keep the tradition of pop-up alive with OnePlus 6T, which was started with the launch of its very first device. This will allow consumers to experience the new flagship and interact with other users and OnePlus team before making the purchase decision.
A new flagship on the way
OnePlus seems to be gearing up to unveil another much-awaited smartphone - the OnePlus 6T. The successor to the highly acclaimed OnePlus 6 is expected to see the light of day on October 30.
It will have a Snapdragon 845 SoC at its heart and will sport a bigger and a more immersive display offering a top-notch multimedia experience. This has been possible, thanks to the entirely bezel-less AMOLED display with a Water drop notch. It will also come equipped with a futuristic Screen Unlock feature.
The OnePlus 6T will come with even bigger battery reservoir compared to its precursor. The company is also said to be bringing an enhanced version of the popular Dash Charge. Consumers can pre-book their device on Amazon.in by buying an e-Gift Card worth Rs 1,000. Pre-Book customers will receive a pair of OnePlus' all-new Type-C Bullets earphones, worth Rs 1490 along with an additional Rs 500 in the form of Amazon Pay Balance on completion of the purchase of the OnePlus 6T.
