OnePlus just confirmed the launch date of the Nord 6 in India. The Nord 6 will succeed last year's OnePlus Nord 5, which put the emphasis on performance and battery life. And it appears that the Nord 6 will primarily improve on those areas.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will feature a Snapdragon 8 series chip, the segment's first 165FPS gaming performance mode, the segment's largest 9,000mAh battery, and a new G2 Wi-Fi chip.

Moreover, the company's official release also provides insight into the price range of the Nord 6. According to the release, the OnePlus Nord 6 price in India will fall anywhere between Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC paired with an Adreno 825 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage, along with a Display P3 Lite chip for enhanced visuals.

In terms of battery, the phone is tipped to pack a massive 9,000mAh unit with 80W fast charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and bypass charging support via a USB Type-C port. For optics, it may include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS alongside a 2MP secondary lens, and a 16MP front camera.

It is expected to run Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, and feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, IP66/68/69/69K rating, X-axis linear motor, and LHDC 5.0 support, all packed within an 8.5mm thick body weighing 217 grams.
