OnePlus Nord 6 Launch Timeline in India and Specifications Revealed: Major Price Hike Expected Over Nord 5

OnePlus appears to be gearing up for its first smartphone launch in India this year. The OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R made their debut in India towards the end of 2025. And while the smartphone maker unveiled its new 'Turbo' series earlier this year in China, no plans of global availability have been discussed yet.

OnePlus Nord 6 India Launch Timeline

However, we now have new information that OnePlus will add a new smartphone to its popular mid-range Nord series soon. According to tipsters Yohesh Brar and Debayan Roy, the OnePlus Nord 6 is launching in India soon.

Roy's post reveals the Nord 6 could be unveiled in the country towards the end of March or start of April, although Brar's sources cite a release in early April. This suggest that the OnePlus Nord 6 launch in India could take place sometime in the first two weeks of April 2026.

It is unclear if the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will accompany the Nord 6, but both posts suggest that it will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6 with improved optics. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord 6 is also expected to get a price hike in India.

Roy's post suggests the OnePlus Nord 6 price in India will start from under Rs 35,000 for the base 8GB/128GB model. While exact pricing is not mentioned, we expect it to start at Rs 34,999, although it could potentially fall under Rs 40,000. To recall, the OnePlus Nord 5 launched at Rs 31,999 in India.

OnePlus Nord 6 Specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Nord 6 will sport a 1.5K flat OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. For optics, the Nord 6 will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens.

Up front, the handset is expected to get a 32MP selfie camera. The OnePlus Nord 6 is also expected to pack a massive 9,000mAh silicon carbon battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
