OnePlus Nord CE 6, CE 6 Lite Sale Date Confirmed Ahead of Launch

OnePlus is slowly filling in the gaps around the Nord CE 6 series. The launch is set for May 7, but if you're actually planning to buy one, the more useful detail is this: when sales begin. That part is now official.

Nord CE 6 Series Sale Timeline

The standard Nord CE 6 will go on sale first, starting May 8 at 12 PM IST. The Nord CE 6 Lite comes a bit later, with sales kicking off on May 12 at the same time.

As for where you can buy them, it’s the usual mix. Amazon India, the OnePlus website, and OnePlus Experience Stores are all on the list. Interestingly, there’s also mention of select offline retailers.

That’s a bit of a shift. OnePlus had been leaning more toward online-heavy sales lately, but this looks like a more balanced approach again.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Series Specs

OnePlus hasn’t held everything back for launch day. Quite a few details are already out, thanks to those teaser pages.

The Nord CE 6 is shaping up as the more premium option between the two. It’s confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and comes with a massive 8000mAh battery. It even supports reverse charging at 27W.

On the front, there’s a 144Hz AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution. Brightness goes up to 1800 nits, and it also supports high-frequency PWM dimming, which should help with eye comfort.

OnePlus is also pushing durability here. The phone carries multiple IP ratings, including IP66, IP68, and even IP69.

For cameras, it’s a 50MP main sensor with optical stabilization and a 32MP front camera with autofocus. Both are expected to support 4K video.

The Nord CE 6 Lite is slightly toned down but still sticks to some big numbers. It’s powered by the Dimensity 7400 Apex chip and packs a 7000mAh battery. There’s a 144Hz display here as well, along with support for high frame rate gaming.

Camera setup includes a 50MP rear sensor, again with 4K video support.

Both phones will run OxygenOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
