OnePlus 5 has started receiving the latest software update from OnePlus. The OTA update is named as OxygenOS version 4.5.10. The update started rolling out today with few users in reach. More and more users will receive the update in coming days.

The update focuses on bug fixes, camera performance improvement and resolving minor issues related to the smartphone. No new features whatsoever are included in the update. However, camera performance improvement brings improvement for several features including noise reduction, camera stability, and quality improvements for 60 fps videos with noise reduction and texture improvements.

Several more fixes and improvements have also been introduced with the OxygenOS update. Users will now be able to get country information for photographers whose pictures feature in in-Shot on OnePlus in the launcher. A fix for accidental touch after hanging up a call has been introduced that had managed to irritate users for quite some time now. Improvements in call functionality have been introduced with the latest update.

Users will also get a better Wi-Fi stability along with a fix for a scrolling issue in the Play Music app. The problem related to the display of the new fonts has also been fixed with the update. Moreover, an issue related to clarity of videos in the SnapShot app has also been fixed.

OnePlus faced several issues right after the launch of OnePlus 5 which included battery draining problem and a bug attack that compromised the battery life after the 911 call was dialed, in the US. Soon after OnePlus started receiving reports of lag in gaming performance. However, a prompt resolution of problems related to the handset was presented.
