Oppo A6x Key Specs Surface Ahead of India Launch, Dimensity 6300 and 6,500mAh Battery Tipped
Oppo appears to be expanding its A-series once again, with the Oppo A6x and Oppo A6 4G reportedly in development. The focus, for now, is on the A6x, whose specifications have surfaced through a leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X.

Display and form factor
The Oppo A6x is said to feature a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This places it among the larger phones in its segment, with the higher refresh rate aimed at smoother scrolling and interface animations.
Dimension-wise, the handset could measure 8.58mm in thickness and weigh around 212g.
Performance and operating system
According to the leak, the Oppo A6x is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This is the same processor used in the Oppo A5x, indicating a similar performance baseline for everyday tasks such as browsing, streaming and app usage.
On the software side, the device is tipped to ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
Camera configuration
The imaging setup is described as a dual rear camera system comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary VGA sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 5-megapixel front camera is mentioned.
Battery and charging
One of the more notable specifications is the reported 6,500mAh battery. The handset is also said to support 45W wired fast charging.
Durability and protection
The Oppo A6x is expected to carry an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. While this doesn’t suggest full waterproofing, it does imply added protection for everyday conditions, such as light rain or accidental splashes.
Launch details
The Oppo A6x is expected to arrive as a successor to the Oppo A5x in India. The A5x launched in May at a starting price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and was offered in Midnight Blue and Laser White.
At this stage, Oppo has not officially confirmed the A6x or its specifications. All current details remain based on leaked information and certification sightings.
