Oppo A98 High-Resolution Renders and Specifications Leaked

Oppo is preparing to launch its newest A-series A-series phone, the Oppo A98 5G. New renders of the smartphone have been leaked ahead of its debut, alongside its full specifications.

Rumors suggest that the Oppo A98 5G will be equipped with a Snapdragon 695 5G processor. It will also feature a triple camera setup headlined by a 64MP camera and a display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Oppo A98 5G Design

Renders of the upcoming Oppo A98 5G, leaked by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, reveal that the device will come in two color options, Dreamy Blue and Cool Black, in Oppo's Glow design language. The smartphone sports two circular cutouts for the cameras and an LED flash at the rear.

Oppo A98 5G Specifications

The Oppo A98 5G will feature a 6.72-inch LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display will feature a refresh rate of 120Hz, touch sampling rate of 360Hz, HDR10+, and 600 nits brightness. Additionally, the device will get a fingerprint and scratch-resistant coating.

Powering the Oppo A98 will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with at least 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It will be accompanied by up to 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of virtual RAM.

The Oppo A98 5G will also get a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. It is reported that a quick 5-minute charge will allow for up to six hours of calling time. Additionally, the smartphone will support reverse charging.

The Oppo A98 will feature a triple-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP microlens with up to 40x zoom. There's also a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

As for the operating system, the Oppo A98 will run Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out of the box. Connectivity options will include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
