Oppo F31 Series Launch Timeline and Key Specs Tipped: 7,000mAh Battery, 360-Degree Armour Body, and More
Oppo may be preparing the next chapter in its F-series lineup. According to tipster @passionategeekz, the Oppo F31 and Oppo F31 Pro are likely to debut in India next month as successors to the F29 series, which first arrived in March.

What’s Changing From the F29 Series
The upcoming F31 models may not deliver sweeping changes in performance or camera hardware. The F29 lineup used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the standard model and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Energy in the Pro, and early reports suggest Oppo won’t move far from that formula.
Instead, the focus looks to be on two areas: battery capacity and durability.
Bigger Batteries on the Way
One of the headline upgrades could be a 7,000mAh battery on both the F31 and F31 Pro. That’s a jump from the 6,500mAh and 6,000mAh cells found in the F29 series. For a midrange phone, that kind of battery size would stand out, particularly for users who put long-lasting power ahead of other features.
Durability and Network Features
The F31 lineup is also rumored to carry forward Oppo’s “360-degree Armour Body” design. This durability feature, introduced with the F29 series, combined reinforced aluminium alloy, diamond-cut corners, and shock-absorbing airbags to help protect against drops.
On the connectivity side, the phones are said to continue with Oppo’s “Hunter Antenna” system, designed to improve reception strength and minimize call drops. On the F29 series, this setup claimed to boost signal strength by up to 300 percent.
More Iterative Than Revolutionary
Taken together, the leaks suggest the Oppo F31 series could be more of a refinement than a full redesign. With chipsets and camera systems expected to stay the same, the key upgrades seem to revolve around endurance and protection.
For existing F29 users, the changes might feel incremental. For new buyers, though, a 7,000mAh battery paired with reinforced durability could still be an appealing package.
