Oppo F7 was announced in India on March 26 and went on flash sale on April 2. At the time of its announcement, it was said that the Oppo F7 will go on flash sale only on one day and the open sale of the smartphone will start on April 9. Given that the smartphone will be available online via Flipkart and Amazon India and offline via the Oppo stores, the open sale debuts today.
The Oppo F7 has been launched in India in two variants - one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space priced at Rs. 21,990 and another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space priced at Rs. 26,990. Interested users can grab hold of the Oppo F7 without going through the struggle of facing the flash sale.
Talking about the smartphone, the major highlight of the Oppo F7 is its camera capabilities. The smartphone carries the credits of being the first one to arrive with a 25MP selfie camera powered by AI. There are AI-related features such as AI Beautification 2.0 in addition to bokeh mode, real-time HDR and beauty mode. At the rear, there is a single 16MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. Moreover, the Oppo F7 is the first smartphone to use the Sony HDR Sensor with its 25MP selfie camera.
In terms of other specifications, the Oppo F7 adorns a 6.23-inch display using the Super Full Screen technology. This screen comes with an aspect ratio of 19:9 as there is a notch at the top center as in the iPhone X and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Under its hood, the Oppo F7 employs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor clocked at 2GHz paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage space.
The other goodies of the Oppo F7 smartphone include connectivity aspects such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack and more. There is a 3400mAh battery to keep the lights turned on. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo topped with Oppo's ColorOS 5.0 and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Oppo F7 comes in different color variants such as diamond black, moonlight silver and solar red.
