Oppo Find N2 Flip India Launch Confirmed: Check Specs, and Features Of Clamshell Android Smartphone

Oppo launched the Oppo Find N2 Flip and the Oppo Find N2 Fold Android smartphones in China last year. During the launch event, Oppo confirmed it will launch the device globally in the first quarter of 2023. Although the Oppo Find N2 Fold might not, the Oppo Find N2 Flip will launch outside China next week. The Chinese smartphone brand has finally confirmed the date of the launch event for the premium, clamshell-style foldable Android smartphone. Oppo Find N2 Flip Global Launch Confirmed, Smartphone Will launch In India As Well

Oppo has announced that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will launch globally. The brand has confirmed that the smartphone will officially launch on February 15, 2023. The launch event will take place in London. Hence, the event will commence at 8:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).

Back when Oppo had indicated the global launch of the Find N2 Flip, several reports suggested the company could unveil the smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is scheduled to take place at the end of this month. However, for reasons yet unknown, Oppo has chosen February 15, instead of the month-end to launch the smartphone.

Oppo Find N2 Flip Global Variant Specifications, Features

Recently surface marketing material for the Oppo Find N2 Flip global variant has indicated the smartphone is similar to the China-only model. However, Oppo may make some cosmetic changes. Previously leaked posters have indicated the smartphone will be available in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colors outside China.

The inner display of the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There's a hole-punch cutout at the top center for the 32MP front camera.

The clamshell-style foldable Android smartphone has a 3.26-inch HD+ OLED secondary display with a 60Hz refresh rate that's always exposed. This outer display is much larger than that of the Galaxy Z Flip 4's 1.9-inch screen.

The Find N2 Flip has a dual camera setup next to the outer screen, which is accompanied by an LED flash. There's a 50MP Sony IMX 890 primary camera sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The primary camera setup supports 4K HDR Video recording.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip global variant should be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, which will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It should have a 4300mAh battery. Oppo is expected to include a 44W fast charger within the retail packing of the smartphone.

The Find N2 Flip weighs about 191 grams and measures 166.2 x 75.2 x 7.45mm when unfolded. When folded the smartphone measures just 85.5 x 75.2 x 16.02mm.

When launched internationally, the Oppo Find N2 Flip will compete against the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. Moreover, the device could also challenge the oft-rumored upcoming foldable phones from OnePlus, dubbed the OnePlus V Flip.
