The Oppo Find N2 Flip foldable smartphone was launched globally in London this February. At the launch, the company also confirmed that it would be coming to India soon without revealing a launch date or a tentative price range.

With the launch in Europe done, Oppo is now gearing up to launch the flip phone in India. According to a new tweet from the brand, the Oppo Find N2 Flip will launch in India on March 13.

The smartphone is Oppo's first foldable smartphone to migrate out of mainland China, and is expected to take the competition to Samsung's doors.

So far, Samsung has dominated the space over the past four years, with Motorola putting a weak defense in the name of the Moto Razr and the Razr 2. The Find N2 Flip is perhaps the first smartphone to truly challenge Samsung's monopoly in India.

However, it will all come down to the price of the smartphone. If Oppo can make the Find N2 Flip more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, there is a good chance the market will accept the device.

Globally, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is priced GBP 849 (roughly ₹84,000). However, considering that prices in the UK are generally higher than in India due to higher tax rates, the smartphone could be cheaper in India. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is priced at ₹89,999.

Oppo Find N2 Flip: Specifications and Features

The Oppo Find N2 Flip features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 1080x2520 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the outside is a 3.26-inch cover display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

It is larger than the one on Samsung and is capable of a few tricks, such as displaying notifications, acting as the camera viewfinder, and supporting interactive widgets.

The Find N2 Flip runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
