Oppo Find N6 Tipped for Q1 2026 Launch With Snapdragon 8 Elite 2; May Arrive Globally as OnePlus Open 2
Oppo appears to be gearing up for the next addition to its foldable lineup. According to a recent leak on Weibo, the company is currently developing the Oppo Find N6, its next book-style foldable smartphone.
If the timeline holds, we could see it launch in China between January and March 2026, with global markets potentially getting a rebranded version through OnePlus.

Slim and Light: A Continued Focus on Portability
The Find N series has always prioritized portability, and it looks like the Find N6 will stick with the same approach. The leak claims that Oppo is aiming to maintain the slim and lightweight profile that defined the Find N5, which currently holds the title as one of the thinnest foldables around.
For context, the Find N5 measures 8.93mm when folded and a mere 4.2mm when unfolded, weighing in at 229 grams. Oppo seems keen to preserve those numbers-or at least come close-especially as Samsung prepares to challenge that record with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is rumored to measure just 3.9mm when unfolded.
In a market where weight and thickness remain key pain points for foldable users, keeping the design pocketable could give the N6 a practical edge.
What's Under the Hood? A Next-Gen Snapdragon Elite
The new leak also suggests that the Oppo Find N6 will be powered by the successor to Qualcomm's current Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. While the chip hasn't been officially named or revealed yet, it's expected to be part of Qualcomm's flagship lineup for 2026.
The Find N5 already uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, so the N6 is likely to follow suit with similar or slightly bumped specs. If past patterns hold, we can expect a dual-cell battery in the range of 5,600mAh, with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
Display and Camera: Likely Carryovers With Minor Tweaks
While there are no confirmed details on the Find N6's displays, it wouldn't be surprising to see Oppo stick with its 8.12-inch 2K inner screen and 6.62-inch 2K outer display, which were praised on the Find N5 for their color accuracy and brightness.
The Hasselblad-branded camera setup is expected to return as well. The N5 featured a triple-camera array, including a 50MP main shooter and a 50MP periscope telephoto-so any changes here are likely to be iterative rather than radical.
Global Availability: Could Debut as OnePlus Open 2
One of the more interesting tidbits in the leak is Oppo's potential strategy for international markets. While the Find N6 will likely debut in China first, it could also appear globally as the OnePlus Open 2.
This wouldn't be new. Oppo's Find N3 was rebranded and launched outside China as the OnePlus Open back in 2023.
