Oppo Find X8 Series Confirmed to Launch on October 24 With MediaTek's All-new Flagship Chip
The Oppo Find X8 series is confirmed to launch on October 24 in China. The brand also reveals the upcoming Find X8 series will ship with the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming Oppo Find X8 series.
Oppo Find X8 Series Launch Date Announced
Oppo took to its official Weibo handle to confirm the arrival of Find X8 series smartphones on October 24 in China. The upcoming handsets will be powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process technology.

This is claimed to be the first mobile chipset to support on-device LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation of Large Language Models) training, enabling better AI performance without needing constant cloud connections. The engine also offers 80% faster LLM (Large Language Model) prompt handling than the Dimensity 9300. Check our previous article to know more about the latest Dimensity 9400.
Oppo Find X8 Series: What to Expect?
The upcoming Oppo Find X8 series is most likely to include at least two models namely -- Find X8, and the Find X8 Ultra. While the brand hasn't shared many details about the upcoming phones, leaks and rumours suggested that the standard Find X8 will feature a 6.5-inch 1.5K display.
For imaging, it might offer a triple rear camera setup which will comprise a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor. It could also pack a 5,700mAh battery with 80W wired. Even the Find X8 series is confined to support 50W wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.8-inch micro-curved display and support up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.
