OPPO Find X9 Series to Launch on October 16 with Dimensity 9500; Global Debut Also Confirmed

OPPO has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming flagship Find X9 series in China. The smartphones will debut on October 16 and will be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.

The Find X9 series is expected to come with slim, symmetrical bezels and curved edges, sticking with a clean hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The display is rumored to use a Tianma OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, Dolby Vision support, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

For imaging, the Find X9 series will likely have a triple 50MP rear camera system. The Pro model is also rumoured to add a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor. The standard model is rumoured to pack a 7,025mAh battery, while the Pro could pack a larger 7,500mAh battery.

Moreover, both phones are tipped to support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. As noted, they are confirmed to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip, which has an "all big core" CPU: one ultra core at 4.21 GHz, three premium cores, and four performance cores.

In addition to the new processor, the upcoming lineup will include OPPO's latest Trinity Engine, which introduces Android's first Unified Computing Power Model. This industry-leading solution is claimed to deliver system-level full-scene computational modeling for the Dimensity 9500's CPU, GPU, and DSU, achieving over 90% accuracy in power consumption prediction and substantially refining energy optimisation across diverse user scenarios, including everyday use, gaming, and imaging.
