OPPO Find X9 Series Rumour Roundup: Expected Specs, Features, Price, and Launch Timeline
Update: OPPO's Find X9 series will launch on October 16 in China. In India, the phones will launch sometime in November. OPPO has also unveiled its new imaging kit for the X9 Pro. Check it out. The phones are also confirmed to come with the new Dimensity 9500 chip.
The next big launch from OPPO is just around the corner. The Find X9 series—likely including the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro—is expected to go official in China this October, with a global release following soon after. India could see the phones by November if OPPO sticks to its usual schedule.
While we don’t have official confirmation of every detail yet, leaks and teasers have given us a good sense of what to expect.

Performance Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500
One of the strongest rumors—and now partly confirmed by OPPO executives—is that the Find X9 series will debut with MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chip. Benchmark leaks have already surfaced, showing the Find X9 Pro crossing the 4 million mark on AnTuTu’s V11 tests. Geekbench scores also suggest strong single-core and multi-core numbers, with reports of a 2.7GHz base frequency and higher-clocked performance cores.
Pair this with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and you’ve got a device positioned to handle gaming, multitasking, and demanding productivity apps. On the software side, both phones will run ColorOS 16, built on Android 16. Rumors also point to tighter integration with tablets and wearables, much like Apple’s ecosystem approach.
Batteries That Cross 7,000mAh
The most talked-about upgrade is the battery. The Find X9 is rumored to feature a 7,025mAh cell, while the Pro could go even bigger with 7,500mAh. To put that in perspective, most premium flagships today hover around 5,000mAh.
Reports suggest both phones will support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. If early claims of 30–33 hours of usage per charge hold up, the Find X9 series could shift how buyers evaluate premium phones. For gamers, streamers, or simply anyone who hates topping up mid-day, this could be a genuine draw.
Camera Setup With Hasselblad Tuning
Photography has long been OPPO’s calling card in the premium space. The Find X9 and X9 Pro will both carry triple 50MP rear cameras, covering the main, ultrawide, and telephoto ranges. The Pro model, however, is rumored to add a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor, making it stand out for zoom photography.
Beyond hardware, OPPO is doubling down on its partnership with Hasselblad. Expect tuned color profiles, “Master mode” for pro-level manual controls, and XPAN mode for cinematic wide shots. The Find X9 Pro will also reportedly ship with a Hasselblad Photography Kit aimed at enthusiasts.
Leaked photo samples show sharper details and improved low-light handling compared to last year’s Find X8 Pro. If those early results translate into retail units, OPPO may have a serious challenger in the mobile photography race.
Design and Display Rumors
Design leaks show the Find X9 with slim, symmetrical bezels and curved edges, sticking with a clean hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. The display is rumored to use a Tianma OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, Dolby Vision support, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
At 6.59 inches, it sits in the same size class as other flagships but may feel slimmer thanks to its design tricks. The Find X9 is said to be 7.99mm thick and weigh about 203g, while the Pro is slightly bulkier at 8.25mm and 224g—understandable given the larger battery. Titanium-inspired finishes and cold-carved materials are also rumored, suggesting durability upgrades.
Pricing and Availability
Pricing is always tricky before launch, but leaks suggest the Find X9 could start around ₹65,000 in India, with the Pro closer to ₹89,000. That places the series right in the middle of the premium flagship battle, where Apple, Samsung, and Google dominate.
There’s also talk of a Find X9 Ultra coming in early 2026, though details remain scarce. For now, OPPO seems focused on getting the X9 and X9 Pro right for this year’s cycle.
