Oppo Find X9 Series With MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC Launching in India November 2025: What to Expect
The Oppo Find X9 series is set to make its debut in India next month. The company has announced the launch date for its new flagship phones. During the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, Oppo revealed that it has partnered with MediaTek to introduce the Dimensity 9500 chipset in the upcoming Find X9 lineup.
The Find X9 series will be launched in China on October 16 and will come with ColorOS 16 pre-installed. This series includes the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models, which are successors to last year's Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. Pre-orders for these phones are currently being accepted.

New Chipset and Performance Enhancements
The Dimensity 9500 chipset, developed by MediaTek, features an Arm G1-Ultra GPU. It boasts a prime core running at 4.21GHz, three premium cores at 3.50GHz, and four performance cores at 2.70GHz. This mobile platform promises up to 32% better single-core and 17% improved multi-core performance compared to its predecessor.
Graphics performance is expected to improve by up to 33%, while power efficiency could see a boost of up to 42%. Oppo plans to enhance these gains further with a custom cooling system, ensuring consistent high-frame-rate gaming during intense sessions.
Specifications and Features
The Oppo Find X9 series will offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The devices will be available in Chasing Red, Velvet Titanium, and Frosty White colours, with an additional Fog Black option for the standard model. The series will feature a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera setup.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro is teased to include a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a focal length of 70mm. A Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit will accompany the phone, enhancing its photography capabilities.
Battery Capacity and Software
The vanilla model of the Find X9 will have a battery capacity of 7,000mAh, while the Pro version will carry a larger 7,500mAh battery. Both models will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and utilise Oppo's self-developed Trinity Engine for enhanced performance.
Oppo's collaboration with MediaTek marks the first time the Dimensity 9500 chipset will be featured in a smartphone series. This partnership aims to deliver cutting-edge technology and superior performance in the Find X9 lineup.
