OPPO Find X9 Ultra Launched Globally with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, Two 200MP Cameras: India Launch in May

OPPO has officially announced the Find X9 Ultra in China and globally to take on the Vivo X300 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The Find X9 Ultra was unveiled in China alongside the Find X9s Pro and is set to make its debut in India next month.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra arrives with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 2K 144Hz OLED display, a large 7050mAh battery, and a quad-rear camera setup with two 200MP sensors.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra price in China starts from CNY 7,499 (roughly Rs 1,02,900) for the 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the Find X9 Ultra also comes in three more configurations:

• 12GB/512GB: CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,09,700)
• 16GB/512GB: CNY 8,499 (roughly Rs. 1,16,550)
• 16GB/1TB: CNY 9,299 (roughly Rs. 1,27,550)

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is also available in markets across Europe and Asia. In France and Germany, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra starts from €1,699 (roughly Rs. 1,87,000) for the 12GB/512GB variant. The Find X9 Ultra's pricing will be announced in other markets in Europe, including the UK, soon.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra comes in Polar Glaciers, Rongsha Canyon, and Tundra shades. Moreover, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra will be available for purchase from April 24 in China. The OPPO Find X9 Ultra will launch in India sometime in May.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Specifications

Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring top-tier performance and fast data access. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra runs on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16.

It features a large 6.82-inch QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixels) flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,800 nits peak brightness, and 10-bit colour depth for an immersive viewing experience. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra packs a massive 7,050mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, and a full suite of navigation systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS, along with a USB Type-C port. Select variants also support Tiantong satellite communication and Beidou satellite messaging. For security, the phone is equipped with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, it measures around 163.16 x 76.97 x 8.65mm and weighs approximately 235g.

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra pushes smartphone photography further with a Hasselblad-tuned quad camera system built for versatility and precision. The setup is headlined by a 200MP ultra-sensing main camera with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor and f/1.5 aperture, designed to capture exceptional detail and dynamic range.

It is complemented by a 200MP 3x telephoto lens for portrait shots and a 50MP 10x periscope telephoto camera with a 230mm focal length, enabling long-range zoom without significant quality loss. A 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 14mm focal length ensures expansive framing for landscapes and group shots.

On the front, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is equipped with a 50MP autofocus selfie camera, designed for sharp self-portraits and high-quality video capture. The device supports up to 8K video recording at 30fps, along with 4K recording at up to 120fps for smooth, cinematic footage, and Dolby Vision for enhanced colour and contrast.

The phone also features a next-gen True Color Camera with 24 spectral channels and 15EV dynamic range, along with a full-focal portrait flash system powered by the LUMO algorithm for balanced lighting. Additional highlights include Hasselblad tuning, XPAN mode for cinematic shots, and pro-grade video tools.
