Oppo Reno 12F Announced with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED Display, IP64 Rating

Oppo recently teased the launch of the Reno 12 series in India, which includes the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. However, the Oppo Reno 12F was recently listed on the company's official global website. The Oppo Reno 12F will debut as the most affordable smartphone in the Reno 12 series.

Oppo Reno 12F Specifications

The Oppo Reno 12F is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone also comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Reno 12F also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

Oppo's latest Reno 12 series smartphone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with AGC DT-Star2 glass protection. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 2,100 nits and hardware-level low blue light protection.

On the back, the Reno 12F opts for a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and AF. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP macro unit with an f/2.4 aperture. Up front, the Oppo Reno 12F features a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Oppo Reno 12F runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14. The Oppo Reno 12F weighs 187 grams and measures 7.76mm thick. Connectivity options on the Reno 12F includes 4G, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, a USB Type-C port, and more. The Oppo Reno 12F features an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and water and 'Splash Touch' support.

Oppo Reno 12F Availability

The Oppo Reno 12F is offered in Amber Orange and Olive Green shades. The camera module also houses a 'Hello Halo Light'. As of now, there is no word about the pricing and availability of the Oppo Reno 12F, although we should get more information in the coming week.
