Oppo is set to unveil its Reno 14 5G lineup in India today, July 3, at 12 PM IST. The launch event will be streamed live on the brand’s official YouTube channel and across Oppo India's social media handles. After launching in China nearly two months ago, the Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G are now making their way to Indian shelves with mostly unchanged specifications and a few AI-focused additions.

Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will also introduce the Pad SE tablet in India today.

Oppo Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G: What’s Confirmed So Far

Both the Reno 14 5G and the Pro variant have already launched in China, and the Indian versions will come with the same hardware and software. The company has already confirmed several features including advanced AI tools and camera enhancements.

Let’s break down what each device is expected to offer.

Display and Design

The Reno 14 Pro 5G will come with a 6.83-inch OLED display featuring 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The screen is also protected by Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass and is rated IP69 for water and dust resistance.

The regular Reno 14 5G will likely offer a similar flat OLED panel but at a slightly smaller 6.59 inches, with the same refresh rate and protection.

Performance and Storage

Both models will be powered by MediaTek chipsets, with the Pro variant running the Dimensity 8450 and the standard Reno 14 using the Dimensity 8350. RAM and storage configurations vary, with options going up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Pro model is also expected to be available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, while the regular Reno 14 could include similar high-end configurations.

Camera Setup

The Reno 14 Pro 5G will feature a triple rear camera system with:

• 50MP OV50E main sensor with OIS
• 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom
• 116-degree ultra-wide sensor

The regular Reno 14 5G will sport a slightly different configuration:

• 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS
• 8MP ultra-wide lens
• 50MP telephoto sensor

Both phones will also offer a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus.

Battery and Charging

Battery life is expected to be another highlight. The Reno 14 Pro will house a 6,200mAh battery with support for 50W wireless fast charging via Oppo’s AIRVOOC system. Wired charging will also be supported at 80W.

The regular Reno 14 will feature a 6,000mAh battery and will also support 80W fast charging, though it may not include wireless charging capabilities.

AI Features

Oppo is putting extra emphasis on artificial intelligence with this series. Some of the announced features include:

• AI Editor 2.0 for quick video edits
• AI Recompose for photo framing suggestions
• AI voice enhancement for clearer calls
• AI image editing tools for filters and tweaks

Oppo Pad SE Also Launching Today

While most of the attention is on the Reno 14 phones, the Pad SE tablet is also debuting in India. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 processor, it features an octa-core architecture and an IPS LCD with 1 billion colors and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The international variant comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options and is backed by a 9,340mAh battery.

Expected Prices in India

Though Oppo hasn’t confirmed official pricing yet, the China launch gives us a useful reference point:

• Reno 14 5G started at CNY 2,799 (approx. ₹33,200)
• Reno 14 Pro 5G started at CNY 3,499 (approx. ₹41,500)

For India, the final prices could fall in the range of ₹39,999 to ₹49,999, aligning with the previous Reno 13 series pricing.
