OPPO Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro Tipped for July Launch in India: Here’s What to Expect

OPPO’s next-generation Reno series is gearing up for its global rollout, and according to new information, India could see the launch of the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro in early July.

While the brand has only teased a “bold comeback” so far, tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the Reno 14 duo is indeed what’s coming next.

India Launch Timeline and Pricing Expectations

If the tip holds true, the Reno 14 series will launch in India in the first week of July, just a few months after the Reno 13 lineup debuted. For context, the Reno 13 5G launched in India at ₹37,999, while the Reno 13 Pro started at ₹49,999.

In China, the Reno 14 starts at CNY 2,799 (approx. ₹33,600), and the Reno 14 Pro is priced from CNY 3,499 (approx. ₹42,000).

Display and Design: Bigger and Brighter

The Reno 14 features a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by OPPO’s Crystal Shield Glass. The Reno 14 Pro bumps things up to 6.83 inches with the same refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

Performance: Dimensity SoCs Return

OPPO is sticking with MediaTek processors, with the standard Reno 14 powered by the Dimensity 8350 SoC — the same chip used in the Reno 13 5G. The Reno 14 Pro uses the Dimensity 8450 chip.

Cameras: Triple 50MP Sensors on Both Models

OPPO is going all-in on 50MP sensors this time. The Reno 14 includes a 50MP main (OIS), 50MP telephoto, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie camera. The Pro version upgrades to a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide, alongside the same 50MP main and front shooters.

Battery and Charging: Bigger Cells, Faster Top-Ups

Battery life is also getting a notable boost. The Reno 14 packs a 6,000mAh battery with 80W Super Flash charging, while the Pro model stretches to 6,200mAh.

Memory and Storage

Both phones offer configurations of up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.
