Oppo Reno 16 Pro Launch in India Tipped: Check Key Specs and Expected Price

The Oppo Reno 16 Pro appears to be heading to India soon. The smartphone has now surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with the model number CPH2863, hinting at an upcoming India launch.

The device has also reportedly appeared on Indonesia’s TKDN certification platform, suggesting that Oppo is preparing for a broader global rollout.

While the certification listings themselves do not reveal detailed specifications, fresh leaks have now painted a clearer picture of what to expect from the Reno 16 Pro.

200MP Camera and Dimensity 9500s Tipped

According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), the Oppo Reno 16 Pro could feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The setup is also tipped to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

The phone is also expected to come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, Oppo could use MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500s chipset. Earlier leaks have also suggested configurations with up to 16GB RAM and as much as 1TB of storage.

Another notable addition could be a new multifunctional hardware key, which is said to work similarly to the Plus Key seen on recent OnePlus phones.

Bigger Battery, Metal Frame, IP69 Rating Expected

The Reno 16 Pro is tipped to feature a slightly bigger battery compared to its predecessor, with earlier reports pointing toward a 7,000mAh capacity. The device could also support 80W wired fast charging, along with wireless charging support.

The leak further claims that the phone may come with a metal frame and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Oppo is expected to officially unveil the Reno 16 series in China later this month. The lineup is currently open for reservations in the country.

More Reno 16 Phones Could Launch in India

Apart from the Reno 16 Pro, Oppo is also tipped to bring the Reno 16, Reno 16C, and Reno 16 Pro Mini to India sometime in Q3 this year.

As for pricing, early rumours suggest that the Oppo Reno 16 Pro could be priced above Rs. 65,000 in India, though the company has not confirmed any official pricing details yet.
