OPPO Says It’s Upcoming Flagship Find X8 Pro Beats iPhone 16 Pro Max In Battery Performance

OPPO is going head-to-head with Apple by comparing the battery performance of its upcoming Find X8 Pro with the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple never boasts its battery capacity or fast charging. In fact, it mostly focuses on real-world usability. Although iPhones have never included an impressively denser battery when compared to Android counterparts, they have always delivered stellar performance, thanks to tightly integrated software and hardware.

The Find X8 Pro, slated to launch on October 24 in China alongside the standard X8, is confirmed to pack a massive 5910mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Ahead of the launch, OPPO has now compared the battery performance of the Find X8 Pro with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, wherein in each of the comparisons, the OPPO is miles ahead of Apple.

The Brand is using a new battery technology called glacier battery tech, which has helped the brand reduce the battery size by 13 per cent while increasing the capacity by 18 per cent when compared to the Find X7 Pro.

According to OPPO, even while continuously recording a Dolby Vision HDR for over 5 hours, the Find X8 Pro can stay minus 20 degrees cooler than the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Similarly, the company claims the Find X8 Pro can record 3 concert videos in a row with up to 7.2 hours of recording, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max can only do it for 5 hours.

Lastly, on a single charge, the Oppo Find X8 Pro can offer 29.3 hours of video playback, in comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max can only last for 27.7 hours.

Despite packing a big battery, the OPPO Find X8 Pro is said to be thinner and lighter, measuring just 8.24mm in thickness and weighing 215 grams. It is likely to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9400 SoC and come with a 6.78-inch 2K resolution flat OLED screen, an iPhone-like camera capture button, and ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
