OPPO is all set to unveil the Find X8 series comprising the standard Find X8 and the X8 Pro models next week in the Chinese market. The pre-reservations for both smartphones are already live on the brand's official online store in its home market.

As the launch approaches, the brand already started teasing the design and key specifications of the upcoming flagships. Besides, the leaks and rumours have already given us a detailed picture of the specifications and features of both units. OPPO Find X8 Series Launch Details

The OPPO Find X8 series launch event will take place on October 24 at 7:00pm local time (4:30pm IST). In addition to the smartphones, the brand will also be launching the Pad 3 Pro, Enco X3 TWS earbuds, and a new variant of the OPPO Watch X.

OPPO Find X8 Series Design

The standard OPPO Find X8 is likely to flaunt a flat-sided design with a metal frame and ultra-thin bezels measuring just 1.45mm on all sides. It is expected to feature a waterproof build and weigh 193 grams. The standard model will also come in four colour options -- black, white, blue, and pink.

On the other hand, the Pro model is tipped to have a curved display and will be available in black, white, and blue colours. It will measure 8.24mm in thickness and weigh 215 grams, with rounded corners.

At the rear panel, they will feature circular rear camera modules with Hasselblad branding like the Find X7 series. The bottom side will have a SIM slot, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker. Moreover, both smartphones will include an alert slider, while the Find X8 Pro will feature an additional iPhone 16-like camera button on the right edge.

The OPPO Find X8 is rumoured to sport a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model will likely get a 6.78-inch 2K micro-curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

OPPO already confirmed the upcoming Find X8 series will be powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process technology.

For imaging, the high-end Find X8 Pro is expected to offer a triple-camera setup including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and both 3x and 10x periscope telephoto cameras. The standard variant could also borrow the same set of camera specs from the Pro model.

On the software front, they are teased to ship with the latest ColorOS version and AI features. While both phones could support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support, the Pro model might pack a slightly larger 5,700mAh battery compared to the standard variant, which is rumoured to come with a 5,600mAh unit.
