Vivo has officially announced the rollout schedule for OriginOS 6, its Android 16-based interface, confirming when various Vivo and iQOO smartphones will receive the update.

According to the company’s global and India accounts, the rollout starts in November 2025 and continues through the first half of 2026, covering dozens of models across the X, V, T, and Y series.

The rollout begins in early November 2025 with Vivo’s flagship and upper-tier models from the X and V series.

Vivo says OriginOS 6 has been redesigned to prioritize smoothness, stability, and visual refinement. The Origin Smooth Engine coordinates between computing, memory, and display systems to deliver consistent long-term performance.

Visually, it introduces the Origin Design system, bringing nature-inspired colors, depth effects, and fluid animations. Features like Dynamic Glow, Translucent Colour, and Flip Cards add personality to the interface. Users can also personalize their lock screen layouts and widgets through the Lock Screen Grid and Home Screen Grid systems.

The update adds a smarter layer of AI, including tools like AI Retouch for photos, DocMaster for document management, and Smart Call Assistant for communication. With the new 8+1 Ultra-Core Computing system, Vivo claims faster app launch speeds and better multitasking stability even under load.
