OriginOS 7 Beta Registration Starts for These 14 Vivo and iQOO Devices: Here's How to Register

Vivo has opened registrations for the OriginOS 7 internal beta programme in China, giving select Vivo and iQOO smartphone and tablet users an early chance to test the company's upcoming software update.

The internal beta programme covers 14 devices, including the latest Vivo X300 series, Vivo foldables, iQOO 15 series smartphones and select tablets. Each eligible device will have 3,000 beta testing slots available.

OriginOS 7 Beta: Eligible Vivo and iQOO Devices

The OriginOS 7 internal beta programme is available for the following devices:

• Vivo X Fold 6
• Vivo X Fold 5
• Vivo X300 Ultra
• Vivo X300 Pro
• Vivo X300s
• Vivo X300
• Vivo X300e
• Vivo Pad 6 Pro
• iQOO 15 Ultra
• iQOO 15
• iQOO 15T
• iQOO Neo 11
• iQOO Neo 11 Ultra
• iQOO Pad 6 Pro

Vivo is offering 3,000 tester slots for each device. Of these, 500 participants will receive builds with logging enabled, while the remaining 2,500 users will test the software without logging.

OriginOS 7 Beta Registration and Rollout Dates

Registration for the OriginOS 7 internal beta opened on September 7 at 10 AM China time and will remain open until September 13 at 11:59 PM.

Vivo is expected to announce the list of selected beta testers on September 15. The OriginOS 7 internal beta update is scheduled to roll out between 3 PM and 6 PM China time on September 16.

How to Register for OriginOS 7 Beta

Eligible Vivo and iQOO users can apply for the internal beta programme by following these steps:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to System Management and Upgrade.
3. Select System Upgrade.
4. Tap Upgrade Early Access.
5. Register for the OriginOS 7 internal beta programme.

Vivo has cautioned that the internal testing build is still under development. Users may encounter bugs, battery drain issues and compatibility problems with some third-party applications. Although the update is not expected to erase existing data, users are advised to back up important files before installing the beta.

The internal beta programme will help Vivo gather feedback and identify potential issues before OriginOS 7 receives a wider public rollout.
