Pixel 10a Clears Verizon Certification; Display, Camera Specs Tipped

The Pixel 10a is expected to feature a 6.3-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is tipped to offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It may house a 5,100mAh battery. The handset will also support 5G and LTE Cat 19 for connectivity.

For optics, the Pixel 10a may come with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 119.7-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it could opt for a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Pixel 10a: What More to Expect?

Earlier leaked renders shared by Android Headlines suggest that the Pixel 10a looks almost identical to the Pixel 9a. It retains the same flat plastic back, a flush dual-camera bar, and similar dimensions at 153.9 x 72.9 x 9mm. The only noticeable changes appear to be slimmer bottom bezels and a slightly more compact overall profile.

The display brightness may also see a small upgrade to 2,200 nits, up from the Pixel 9a's 2,000 nits. Additionally, the phone is likely to continue offering seven years of software support.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10a is expected to feature Google's Tensor G4 chipset, the same processor that runs the Pixel 9a. However, reports indicate it could be a "boosted" version with slightly higher clock speeds.

As far as the launch is concerned, the Pixel 10a is expected to arrive in Q1 2026, with pricing expected to start at around $499 (around ₹44,000) for the 128GB model, the same launch price as the Pixel 9a.
