Pixel 7a Teased on Flipkart Ahead of May 11 Launch

The Google Pixel 7a will debut in India on May 11, after it is unveiled during Google I/O 2023 on May 10. The smartphone is now being teased on Flipkart in a snow white colorway. The Pixel 7a will succeed the Pixel 6a, which launched last year.

Although Google didn't reveal much about the Pixel 7a, various leaks and rumors have already painted a pretty detailed picture of the upcoming smartphone. If that wasn't enough, a recent teardown video of the smartphone revealed the inner workings of the Pixel 7a.

Pixel 7a Spotted on Flipkart

A promotional banner of the Pixel 7a was seen on Flipkart, offering a glimpse at the smartphone. The poster indicates that the device will launch on May 11, just as rumored.

Going by the image, the Pixel 7a appears quite similar to its predecessor, the Pixel 6a. While no specs were shared by the brand, key specifications of the smartphone are already out, thanks to various leaks.

Pixel 7a Rumored Features

The Google Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch display with a Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. There will be a punch-hole cutout at the front for the selfie camera.

As for the processor, the Google Pixel 7a will be equipped with a Tensor G2 processor, which is the same chipset that powers the flagship Pixel 7 lineup. The smartphone is expected to come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

When it comes to imaging, the Pixel 7a will reportedly feature a dual camera setup at the rear, which could include a 64MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. At the front, it could feature a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Additionally, it is reported that the Pixel 7a could cost between $450 (around ₹32,000) and $500 (around ₹40,000). In addition to the Snow White colorway teased on Flipkart, the Pixel 7a is expected to come in Carbon and Arctic Blue color options.
