Poco has officially launched the Poco C55 in India. Despite the premium-looking leatherette back, the Android smartphone has comfortable pricing. The Poco C55 packs a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 6GB RAM, and a large 6.71-inch screen. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart at the end of this month. The Poco C55 Android smartphone is essentially a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi 12C. Coincidentally, the Redmi 12C will also launch in India this month. The Redmi phone is already available in China, and Xiaomi plans to release the smartphone in several markets outside China.

The Poco C55 features a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 1650 x 720 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The 720p display of the Poco C55 houses a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone's back features a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Poco C55 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The smartphone's high-end variant packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Poco has launched the Poco C55 in India today, but the smartphone will commence sale on February 28. The smartphone will sell exclusively on Flipkart.

The 4GB + 64GB variant of the Poco C55 has been priced at ₹9,499, while the 6GB + 128GB model costs ₹10,999. Those who purchase the device on the first day of sale can get a ₹500 flat discount on the 4GB + 64GB variant. There are offers from participating banks which can slash the prices by ₹1000 for both variants, bringing down the asking price of the Poco C55 below the ₹10,000 mark.
